Pander to racism and stupidity and you can win South Carolina. That should surprise no one, but I am continually surprised at how badly the South can make America look. It is an absurdity and I cannot wait to see how it plays out on The Daily Show on Monday. Despite the attack ad nature of the production, Newt has so much baggage that he would guarantee an Obama win in November. It is terribly amusing that the twice adulterous, thrice married Georgian somehow meets the expectations of the Evangelical crowd. Edit: The results are interesting. Mitt won Columbia and Charleston, the predominantly wealthy, educated sections of the state. Newt won the less educated, and lower social classes.
